  • ENGLISH 7
    • Students worked in small groups to answer questions about the Article of the Week on bullying. Annotation with text tags and commentary and comprehension questions:
      • What examples of kindness did you find/read about?
      • What is the author’s purpose? Cite evidence to support.
      • Compare Alex’s feelings from the beginning of the article to the end.
      • What can school’s do to prevent bullying? Due Friday, October 7th.
  • HONORS ENGLISH 8
    • Students self-selected a novel to read for Literature Circles and began reading.
    • Students completed HRL in class.
    • Students received questions for AoW to be completed as homework. Due Friday.
      • AoW: Black history’s home is open
