FORMER SMS STAR STUDENT

Today, room 32 had a very special guest speaker. Charles Arsenescu, one of Ms. Warzy’s favorite former students, came to share his high school and college experiences with period 6. He offered them tips on AP courses at the high school, how to really study, what it’s like to leave home to go away to college, and so much more.

Charles attended Downey High and went on to play hockey for NYU. He graduated in the spring with a degree in economics. He still lives in Manhattan, where is he is working on Wall Street. I am always so proud of my former students who fulfill their dreams of finishing college and find success in their chosen career. Congratulations to Charles! And, thanks for coming all the way from NYC to share your wisdom with period 6.
