The students of room 32 cast their ballots, and here are the election results:

HILLARY CLINTON: 100 votes (60%)

DONALD J. TRUMP: 15 votes (.09036145 or just under 10%)

NEITHER CANDIDATE: 51 votes (40%)

So, the question is, did the votes of room 32 students reflect the popular vote of the 2016 election?

We shall find out on November 9, 2016. Hopefully…

The camp is very reasonably priced at just $5 per week, per kid with scholarships available. The “Come Alive Creative Arts Day Camp” runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from July 5th through July 28th. Lunch is provided. The hours are 10:00 to 3:30.

Some of the classes offered include: GUITAR, 3-D ART, GARDENING, SONG-WRITING, & POETRY.


WHAT WE DID: 5/19 & 5/20

Pecha Kuchas continue. Today, we learned about Jalama Beach near Santa Barbara, the band 1975, you Tubers, and more.

Students continued drafting their essay for the Construction of a College Experience. Final drafts are due by next Tuesday, May 24th.

Library visit to find out about fun summer programs at the Downey City Library. Also, Ms. Powers explained how to sign up on-line for a library card (first time users only) and check out e-books for tablets, smart phones, and other electronic devices such as a Kindle.
